Treasurer: Judy’s League

Summary
Liam Holland serves as Treasurer of Judy’s League, while also assisting with the organization’s nonprofit development and advocacy efforts. As a nonverbal AAC user with cerebral palsy, Liam brings his lived experience to his work in disability advocacy, accessibility, and assistive technology. He became involved in disability advocacy at Villanova University, where he served on the executive board of LEVEL, the university’s student disability advocacy organization. In this role, he helped connect disabled students with student volunteers and organize campus events.
After graduating, Liam completed the AAPD Disability Advocacy Certificate Program and interned with TechOWL, where he worked on community-based, accessible gaming, and assistive technology initiatives. Liam is especially passionate about advancing the rights and independence of people who use AAC and creating more opportunities for disabled people to build meaningful social connections and participate fully in their communities. He joined Judy’s League because he believes the rights secured by disability activists like Judy Heumann must not only be protected, but strengthened for future generations.
